1. General
This website emporas.gr belongs to the company EMPORAS LP, based in Naxos. These Terms of Use govern the use of the website and the purchase of products from it.
By using the website, you accept these terms without reservation. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
We reserve the right to change the terms at any time. Changes apply from their publication on the website.
2. User Account
Orders require creating an account (or checking out as a guest, where available). The user is responsible for:
- The accuracy of the details provided at registration
- Protecting their login details (username & password)
- Keeping their details up to date (address, phone, etc.)
- All activities carried out through their account
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that are used abusively.
3. Orders
An order is considered final after it is confirmed by email. We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of:
- Product unavailability
- Incorrect price due to a technical error
- Doubt about the authenticity of the order
- Unsuccessful payment
In case of cancellation, we refund the payment amount.
4. Prices & Payment
All prices include 24% VAT (unless stated otherwise). Prices may change without notice, but the price that applies to each order is the one shown at checkout.
Payment methods:
- Credit / Debit card (via secure gateway)
- Bank transfer
- PayPal
- Cash on delivery (where available)
- On credit — exclusively for approved B2B partners
5. Shipping
Shipments are made with partner courier companies:
- Mainland Greece: 24-48 business hours
- Islands: 2-4 business days
- Remote areas: An extra charge may apply
Orders before 14:00 ship the same day. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
6. Returns & Withdrawal
Under Article 3e of Greek Law 2251/1994, you have the right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, without giving any reason.
Conditions:
- The product must be in its original packaging, unused
- It must be accompanied by the purchase receipt/invoice
- Return costs are borne by the buyer
Exceptions: made-to-order products (custom orders), products that have been used or are damaged, consumables.
The refund is made within 14 days of receiving the product, using the same method as the payment.
7. Warranty
All products come with the manufacturer's warranty:
- DCK Professional Power Tools: 2-year warranty
- FUTECH: According to the manufacturer's policy
- Other products: According to the manufacturer's specifications
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not include damage from misuse, normal wear or modifications to the product.
8. Special B2B Terms
Additional terms apply to approved B2B partners:
- Exclusive wholesale prices appear after logging in
- Invoicing on credit available for approved partners
- Shipping priority
- Access to exclusive tools (Quick Order, Lists, PDF price list)
We reserve the right to revoke B2B status in case of a breach of terms or late payments.
9. Limitation of Liability
EMPORAS LP makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information on the website, but does not guarantee:
- That all information is always 100% up to date
- Uninterrupted operation of the website
- The absence of typographical or photographic errors
We are not liable for damage resulting from use of the products without following the manufacturer's instructions.
10. Intellectual Property
All content of the website (texts, images, logos, design, code) is the intellectual property of EMPORAS LP or the respective manufacturers (DCK, Paolina, Futech) and is protected by Greek and international law.
Any reproduction, copying, modification or exploitation without the company's written permission is prohibited.
11. Dispute Resolution
For any dispute that may arise, the courts of Naxos have jurisdiction. The user may also contact the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman or the EU ODR platform for out-of-court resolution.
